In case you see a – y/n prompt, just type – y and then press – enter.  Now you need to reboot the machine and it will surely boot normally now

 

2. Fix error oxC000021A using Startup Repair

If the above method doesn’t work then you can carry out a windows 10 startup repair.  Now boot to windows 10 DVD.

  • On your first screen that you see click – Troubleshoot.
  • Then click – “Advanced options
  • Now click – “Startup repair

The startup repair tool will begin and starts scanning windows 10 device and resolve startup problems if any.

Once the repair process is over, take out the windows 10 DVD from the system & reboot.

 

3. Reset – computer’s BIOS

Many Windows users facing this issue say that resetting the computers’ BIOS have been helpful solution.

You can reset computer’s BIOS by just removing CMOS battery from motherboard for a few minutes. Well, this method will not work with your laptop as the motherboard there is not easily accessible. To reset the computer’s BIOS, you should follow the steps mentioned below-

  1. Turn OFF your device.
  2. Detach all the power cables from your machine and make sure that your computer is completely disconnected from power supply.
  3. Open the body of your computer very carefully
  4. Search for the computer’s –CMOS battery (What is it) ( you can find it near computer’s motherboard) and then remove it
  5. Wait for nearly one to two minutes
  6. Replace battery after waiting for long time.
  7. Put back the casing of your computer back
  8. Start your computer and check if it boots into Windows successfully.
