1. Remove Microsoft account by Changing current account to local user account

  • Open – Start menu
  • Click – Settings
  • Click – Accounts

2. Sign in to a different administrator account and remove Microsoft account

  • On the left pane of window click the option- Family & other users

  • Click – Remove
  • Simply follow the screen instructions and you will see the screen- “Delete account and data” there you click – Delete account and data and simply confirm removing Microsoft account from your PC.

Once you do that, the preferred Microsoft account will be removed successfully and permanently from your PC. Remember, when the Microsoft account is removed it means all the data stored on that account will be automatically deleted permanently.
